Foundation by the London Mission Society
The school was originally established in 1831 by the London Mission Society at the request of Mr. J. W. Sullivan, the Collector of the region at that time.
Upgraded to High School
Originally functioning as a primary institution, the school was officially upgraded to a High School in 1881, marking an important step in its academic development.
Management Transfer & Government-Aided Recognition
In 1934, the London Mission Society transferred the administration of the institution to the Union High School authorities. During this period, the institution also became an officially recognized government-aided school.
Managed by the Church of South India
Presently managed by the Church of South India, the institution operates as an aided higher secondary school for Grades 6 to 12, continuing its educational service in Erode.
